Hall of Fame quarterback Peyton Manning delivered another memorable reaction to a terrible play during Monday night’s Manningcast, which has sort of become a trend in the three seasons that the program has been running.

Whether it’s reacting to poor coaching decisions, bad plays, or turnovers, Manning’s reactions to the on-field situations have become one of the most entertaining aspects of the broadcast.

As people on social media love to point out during the games, there might be no one who hates bad football more than Peyton Manning.

The Tennessee legend delivered another memorable moment on Monday night during the Bengals-Jaguars game. Cincinnati, who was playing backup quarterback Jake Browning in replacement of injured quarterback Joe Burrow, dialed up a wide receiver trick play during a 21-all game in the third quarter. Browning threw the ball to his left to wide receiver Tyler Boyd, who then threw the ball back across the field to Joe Mixon for a running back screen. That was the idea, at least. Boyd’s pass looked like a car running out of gas as it barely made it halfway across the grass, landing right in the arms of a Jaguars defensive lineman.

“What are we doing?! Why are they not letting Browning throw?” Manning exclaimed as he burst out of his seat, accidentally flinging his wireless microphone off in the process.

The interception came after the Bengals had scored touchdowns on three of their last four drives. In reality, it was three of their last three drives with the fourth being the final few seconds before halftime.

Fortunately for Cincinnati, the interception didn’t prove to be a difference-maker in the game… but it looked like it could’ve been for a while. Jacksonville scored a touchdown just four plays later thanks to the great field position that the Bengals gave up with the interception.

The Bengals ended up winning on a game-winning field goal in overtime from Evan McPherson, 34-31.

The next showing of the Monday Night Manningcast will be a big one.

According to a report from Front Office Sports on Tuesday morning, ESPN is planning on doing a simultaneous double-broadcast for the Packers at Giants game and the Titans at Dolphins game. The games will be on at the same time as the Manning brothers do a sort of “red zone” style broadcast.

It’s a first for the Manningcast, so it will certainly be interesting to see how all of it is handled. But after several games over multiple seasons and countless great moments along the way, the Manning brothers are primed for a new challenge.
