Tennessee is 5-6 against the spread this season. The Vols went 3-4 against the spread in SEC games, failing to cover against Florida, Missouri, Georgia, Alabama and Vanderbilt but doing so at home against South Carolina and Texas A&M and at Kentucky. The over has hit in six Tennessee games this season, the under has hit five times and pushed once.
Iowa is 6-4-1 against the spread this season and went 3-6 against the spread in Big 10 games. The over has hit in two Hawkeyes games this season while the under has hit nine times.

Tennessee is looking to cap off a disappointing regular season with its second consecutive bowl win. The Vols went 8-4 (4-4 SEC) in the regular season with their best wins coming over Kentucky and Texas A&M while falling to the three ranked teams they faced.
Iowa enters the Citrus Bowl with a 10-3 (7-2 Big 10) record and winners of the Big 10 West. The Hawkeyes suffered lopsided losses to Penn State and Michigan in the Big 10 Championship game while also falling in a tight game to Minnesota. Iowa’s best wins came over Wisconsin and Rutgers.
Neither team has any serious bowl opt outs as of the time of publication though announcements could be coming at a later date.
Kickoff at Camping World Stadium in Orlando is at 1 p.m. ET on New Years Day. ABC is broadcasting the bowl game.
