The 2024 Reese’s Senior Bowl week has officially arrived.

Several top prospects and NFL Draft hopefuls from around the nation are in Mobile, AL, for a three-day week of practices leading to the official Senior Bowl game on Saturday, Feb. 3, at 1:00 p.m. ET. The game will be on the NFL Network.

While two Tennessee players did accept Senior Bowl invitations this year, only one will be participating. Tennessee quarterback Joe Milton is on the American Team roster while junior running back Jaylen Wright will not be in action as he rehabs a season injury, according to Fantasy Pro’s Thor Nystrom on X.

Including Milton, there are 34 former SEC players (excluding Texas and OU) rostered for the Senior Bowl this Saturday. Other notable SEC names include USC quarterback Spencer Rattler, Missouri running back Cody Schrader, Kentucky running back Ray Davis, UGA receiver Ladd McConkey, Florida receiver Ricky Pearsall, and Alabama PK Will Reichard. All SEC players except for Florida’s two will be on the American Team roster.

The American Team will practice in the afternoon slot on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday before the game is played on Saturday. The Senior Bowl is a tremendous opportunity for NFL hopefuls to meet, interact with, and perform in front of several NFL scouts, coaches, and executives. While the NFL Combine gets much of the attention on the road to the draft, the Senior Bowl is unquestionably a landmark event in that process, too.

All Senior Bowl players will take part in a Senior Bowl Mardi Gras parade in the Downtown Mobile Entertainment District on the Friday night before the game.

Tennessee had three representatives in the 2023 Senior Bowl including Darnell Wright, Byron Young, and Hendon Hooker, who was coming off of ACL surgery and was unable to physically perform at the camp. Wright and Young, though, turned great Senior Bowl performances into NFL All-Rookie selections.

Wright played more snaps than any Chicago Bears player this season while Young was second amongst rookies in sacks this year. Cedric Tillman also received an invitation to the event last year but did not participate due to injury.

Tennessee also had three representatives during the 2022 Senior Bowl with OL Cade Mays, WR Velus Jones Jr., and DB Alontae Taylor.

2024 Senior Bowl American Team practices can be watched on ESPN2 at 1:00 p.m. ET on Wednesday and Thursday.
