With the regular season in the rearview, the SEC Tournament bracket is set and the Vols’ conference title path is set.

Tennessee is the top seed in the event and will play the winner of the No. 8 LSU/ No. 9 Mississippi State on Friday at 1 p.m. ET.

If the Vols get past the Tigers or the Bulldogs they’ll likely face either Auburn or South Carolina unless Arkansas or Vanderbilt make a surprising run to the semifinals.

Top teams on the other side of the bracket include No. 2 Kentucky and No. 3 Alabama in addition to No. 6 Florida and No. 7 Texas A&M.

Check out the full bracket here.

Tennessee finished the regular season with a 14-4 SEC record and won the league title outright despite losing its regular season finale against Kentucky on Saturday afternoon.

Ironically, the only team that Tennessee hasn’t beat in conference play this season is Mississippi State. The Vols lost in Starkville in early January and didn’t play the Bulldogs again. Tennessee later avenged losses against South Carolina and Texas A&M and won its first meeting against Kentucky in Lexington.

The Vols won their lone meetings against LSU and Auburn in Knoxville earlier this season while splitting their two matchups against South Carolina.

Tennessee enters the SEC Tournament fighting for the final one-seed and likely need to win two games to give themselves a real chance to earn a one-seed in the NCAA Tournament for the first time in program history. The Vols are looking to win the SEC Tournament for the first time since 2022.
