Charlotte transfer Igor Milicic is down to three schools according to CBS Sports Jon Rothstein. Milicic is considering Baylor, Nebraska and Tennessee.

The top three adds up considering it is the three schools that Milicic has either visited or plans to visit. Milicic visited Nebraska last weekend before visiting Tennessee on Tuesday. The 6-foot-10, 225-pound forward plans on visiting Baylor this weekend before announcing his commitment.

Milicic entered the transfer portal after his junior season at Charlotte and has one season of eligibility remaining. The Rijeka, Croatia played his freshman season at Virginia before transferring to Charlotte for the last two seasons.

As a junior with the 49ers, Milicic averaged 12.8 points and 8.5 rebounds per game. While his 6-foot-10 bod would indicate that he’s a center, Milicic is really more of a stretch four that has the ability to play both small forward and center. He was efficient as a shooter last season, making 49% of his field goal attempts and 38% of his three-point attempts while making 56 triples over the course of the season.

Playing in the American Athletic Conference last season, Charlotte played three ranked teams. Milicic totaled eight points and six rebounds against Duke, 13 points and five rebounds against Florida Atlantic and eight points and five rebounds against South Florida.

Transfer portal rankings vary on Milicic. He’s unranked according to 247sports while EvanMiya.com ranks Milicic as a four-star recruit and the No. 168 player in the transfer portal.

Tennessee basketball currently has five scholarships available as it looks to fill out its 2024-25 roster. The Vols have lost four players to the transfer portal to date while landing Hofstra wing Darlinstone Dubar earlier this week. Rick Barnes and his staff have also hosted Belmont transfer Cade Tyson on a visit to far.
