Five-star receiver Jaime Ffrench is visiting Tennessee football this weekend as part of a massive recruiting weekend for the Vols, Ffrench shared on X Thursday morning.

Ffrench is one of the top players in the entire 2025 recruiting class. He ranks as a five-star recruit and the No. 17 player in the country according to the 247sports composite rankings. A Jacksonville native, Ffrench ranks as the No. 3 receiver and the No. 3 player in the state of Florida in the 2025 recruiting cycle.

The 6-foot-1, 185-pound receiver originally committed to Alabama last July but de-committed from the Crimson Tide once Nick Saban retired in January. Since then, Tennessee has become a major player in Ffrench’s recruitment.

Ffrench unofficially visited Tennessee in March and has an official visit scheduled for June. Josh Heupel and his staff getting the five-star receiver back on campus less than a month before that visit is a huge boost to their hopes to land him.

The blue-chip recruit has three other official visits scheduled over the next month— trips to LSU, Miami and Texas. Ffrench has already taken a visit to all three schools. He’s also visited both Ohio State and Florida twice in the last year though he hasn’t scheduled an official visit with either.

Tennessee’s 2025 recruiting class currently contains 10 commits with two of them coming from instate receivers— three-star Joakim Dodson and four-star Radarious Jackson. The Vols have a deep receiver room at the moment but have seniors Bru McCoy and Dont’e Thornton who are out of eligibility after this season.

The Vols’ 10-commit recruiting class currently ranks No. 14 nationally and No. 7 in the SEC according to the 247sports team rankings.
