SEC Shorts didn’t hold back after Tennessee’s blowout loss to Ohio State in the first round of the college football playoffs.
In a new Tennessee-centric episode from Monday morning, the sketch follows a group of Vol fans preparing the game as a fortune teller gives them the bad news about what happens.
Tennessee’s season came to a close with a lopsided 42-17 loss to Ohio State on Saturday night in Columbus. While Vol fans made good on their promise to “invade The Shoe”, Tennessee was simply outplayed and outcoached for four-quarters of football on the field. Tennessee’s offense racked up 256 offensive yards in the freezing cold game but the Vols’ defense allowed an astounding 473 yards of total offense to the Buckeyes.

Hey, no one expected the VOLS to finish where we did. We were projected by the experts to finish 7th in the SEC and we showed them finishing third. We made the playoffs. We played up and down during the year and finished 10-3. I am proud of what these young men accomplished. We are on the right track and I wish them better things in the future. Go vols.
