National signing day doesn’t have the same luster it used to with the early signing period in December and the summer months becoming the most important months in the recruiting calendar.
But there was a bit of pre signing day news for Tennessee football on Tuesday when four-star cornerback commit Onis Konanbanny flipped his commitment to Florida.
The news didn’t come as a major surprise. Konanbanny was Tennessee’s only commit that did not sign back in December and there was buzz that the cornerback would flip his commitment to Florida back in December.
Without Konanbanny, Tennessee signed three cornerbacks in its 2025 signing class including Dylan Lewis, Tre Poteat and Timothy Merritt.
Tennessee’s 2025 recruiting class finished with 25 signees. Of those 25 signees, either one or two were ranked as five-star recruits, 13 or 14 were ranked as four-star recruits and eight or nine ranked as three-star recruits.
So where does Tennessee football’s 2025 signing class rank on National Signing Day after losing Konanbanny? Taking a look here.
