No. 4 Tennessee kept its momentum rolling with a 70-52 win over Oklahoma on Saturday afternoon in Norman, OK.
The Vols now have three straight wins after defeating No. 5 Florida and No. 15 Missouri last week in Knoxville and Oklahoma on Saturday in Norman.
Tennessee guard Chaz Lanier led all scorers with 21 points while fellow senior guard Zakai Zeigler nearly posted a double-double with 17 points and 9 assists.
The Vols erupted offensively in the first half, outscoring the Sooners 45-25 in the first 20 minutes of play. Tennessee combined hot shooting with stout defense to scramble Oklahoma’s game plan and leave the Sooners spinning in the dust.
