After falling to No. 6 LSU in a tight game on Super Bowl Sunday, the Lady Vols returned to Knoxville to pick up a conference win on Thursday night in the Food City Center.
No. 15 Tennessee defeated Auburn by a score of 99-61 to pick up its 18th win of the season overall.
The Lady Vols and Tigers traded shots in the first quarter, but it was all Tennessee for the final 30 minutes of the contest. After Tennessee led 22-20 after the first 10 minutes, the Lady Vols outscored Auburn 77-41 over the final three quarters of the game. Tennessee also held Auburn to just nine offensive points in the final frame.
Jewel Spear led Tennessee with 17 points and four assists while Zee Spearman pulled in a team-high six rebounds in the game.

No. 15 Tennessee will return to action at Noon ET on Sunday afternoon against Ole Miss. The Lady Vols will host the Rebels in the Food City Center at the University of Tennessee.
