There has been a television programming change for Game 2 of the Tennessee-Arkansas series in Fayetteville on Friday night.

According to ESPN’s Tom Hart on X, the game between the Vols and the Razorbacks will be broadcast on SEC Network on Friday night at 7:30 p.m. ET.

The time has not changed from its original listing, but the game was moved off of SEC Network+ and to the standard SEC Network channel.

Tennessee will send ace Liam Doyle to the mound to try to take the series on Friday. Doyle has started 13 games this season with a 9-2 record, recording a 2.17 ERA, 127 strikeouts, and 23 walks in 74.2 innings pitched for Tony Vitello’s squad.

The Vols won the first game of the series on Thursday night, 10-7, on the road. Tennessee led 7-6 entering the ninth inning before scoring three insurance runs in the top of the ninth to give itself some breathing room.

The Vols hit four long shots on Thursday with two off the bat of Dalton Bargo, one from Dean Curley, and one from Cannon Peebles. Starting pitcher Marcus Phillips went 4.1 innings on the mound with seven hits, three earned runs, and three strikeouts.

Tennessee has a lot to play for here in the final weekend of the regular season with a chance to potentially host a Regional series on the line. The Vols took a big step toward that goal with Thursday’s win, but will need to keep their foot on the gas with a stout Arkansas team in the other dugout.

Friday’s game will take place on the SEC Network at 7:30 p.m. ET.

Saturday’s series finale will take place at 3:00 p.m. ET on the SEC Network.
