
Tennessee Baseball’s season came to a close on Sunday afternoon in Game 2 of the Fayetteville Super Regional with an 11-4 loss to the Arkansas Razorbacks.
The Volunteers finished the season with a 49-19 overall record, a 16-14 mark in conference play, and a 32-10 record at Lindsey Nelson Stadium. Tennessee’s Liam Doyle was named the SEC Pitcher of the Year, while Andrew Fischer tied UT’s all-time single-season walks record.
Following the game, head coach Tony Vitello, outfielder Hunter Ensley, and pitcher AJ Russell met with the media for about 20 minutes in Fayetteville.
