
With excitement ramping up among the fanbase for the upcoming football season, Tennessee is also gearing up for the new season by filming new jumbotron videos featuring their 2025 roster.
Some of those videos and pictures have made their way to social media.
The posts not only give us a quick look at some of the rising and returning stars on the team, but also some of the new jersey changes that occurred during the offseason.
We’ve seen Mike Matthews in his new No. 4 jersey after switching from No. 10, true freshman David Sanders Jr. in his No. 70 jersey, and transfer quarterback Joey Aguilar in the No. 6 threads.
The pictures also showed quarterback Jake Merklinger in the No. 12 jersey, transfer lineman Wendell Moe rocking No. 75, transfer running back Star Thomas in the No. 9 threads, running back Peyton Lewis switching from No. 27 to No. 2, and freshman wide receiver Travis Smith Jr. wearing the clean No. 1 uniform.
