Lady Vols basketball is one of the final five programs that 2026 five-star small forward Bella Flemings is considering going forward.
Flemings released her five final schools, which featured Tennessee, Baylor, TCU, Miami and Duke.
Flemings is listed as a 6-foot small forward on 247. The site’s composite rankings list her as a five-star and the No. 12 recruit in the country. She is the No. 2 player from Texas out of San Antonio.
“We might have gotten a glimpse of what Flemings will be at the next level during Overtime Select Championship Weekend,” 247’s Women’s Basketball Director of Scouting Brandon Clay wrote. “Flemings’ ability to make shots and keep Kate Harpring from scoring 30 points in the title game caught the attention of everyone in the media row. Flemings prevented Harpring from getting easy baskets down the stretch of the game, which is much easier said than done. On the offensive end, Flemings showed range beyond the 3-point line and a willingness to rebound as well. Her brother, Kingston, is a highly regarded prospect in his own right.”
More From RTI: Is Lady Vols Basketball Already a Final Four Team Under Kim Caldwell?
Tennessee currently holds no commitments in the 2026 class, but the inclusion in Flemings’ top five is a good sign. UT has been a consistent voice in her recruitment and it could pay off.
Other targets to know as Tennessee looks to sign another impressive class are five-stars Kate Harping, Olivyah Edwards, Brihanna Crittendon, Addison Bjron, Jacy Abii, Trinity Jones and Gabby Minus.
This past 2025 cycle, Kim Caldwell and her staff dominated on the trail. The group signed three McDonald’s All-Americans in Mia Pauldo, Deniya Prawl and Jaida Civil. The Lady Vols also bring in highly-touted Mya Pauldo (twin sister of Mia) and in-state prospect Lauren Hurst (sister of UT men’s basketball’s Grant Hurst).
In the transfer portal, they landed a fantastic class with Janiah Barker, Jersey Wolfenbarger and Nya Robertson joining the team.
