After an extremely busy stretch this summer, Tennessee football recruiting has settled down over the last couple weeks. A number of Tennessee’s top targets have either committed to the Vols or others in recent weeks. But there’s still multiple highly touted prospects that Tennessee is still after.

Here’s a look at five top 50 recruits that Tennessee is hoping to land.

Tristen Keys, Receiver

This one is a bit unique because Keys is already committed to LSU. But that hasn’t kept Tennessee and others from pushing to flip the blue-chip receiver.

Keys ranks as a five-star recruit and the No. 6 player in the country according to the 247sports composite rankings. The 6-foot-3 prospect also ranks as the top receiver and the top player in the state of Mississippi in the 2026 recruiting cycle.

The Hattiesburg native visited Tennessee twice this summer and with quarterback commit Faizon Brandon also helping the push, the Vols are a real threat to flip Keys from LSU.

Savion Hiter, Running Back

The top rated uncommitted prospect in the country, Hiter ranks as a five-star recruit and the No. 9 recruit in the country according to the 247sports composite rankings. He also ranks as the top running back and the top player in the state of Virginia in the 2026 cycle.

Hiter is drawing close to his commitment, announcing Friday that he will publicly commit on Aug. 19 as his senior high school season gets underway.

The blue-chip recruit is down to a top four that includes Georgia, Michigan, Ohio State and Tennessee with the Vols and Wolverines looking like the top contenders.

Darius Gray, Interior Offensive Lineman

A two-sport star at Richmond’s St. Christopher’s School, Gray is down to a top group that includes Ohio State, LSU, South Carolina and Tennessee after taking visits to all four schools in September.

Gray ranks as a five-star recruit and the No. 30 player in the country according to the 247sports composite rankings. The 6-foot-3, 285-pound prospect also ranks as the No. 2 interior offensive lineman in the 2026 recruiting cycle.

South Carolina and LSU are largely viewed as the favorites to land Gray but Tennessee is still in the thick of the recruitment and continues to push for the five-star who will announce his commitment on Aug. 22.

Salesi Moa, Athlete

Moa originally planned on announcing his commitment earlier this month with Utah appearing to be the favorite at that time. But the blue-chip athlete delayed his decision and Tennessee keeps pushing to land the blue-chip recruit.

Tennessee, Utah, Michigan and Michigan State are the top teams battling for his service. It’s unclear whether he will play receiver or safety at the next level.

Moa ranks as a five-star recruit and the No. 31 player in the country according to the 247sports composite rankings. If he signed with Tennessee, Moa would be the first ever Vol from the state of Utah.

Joel Wyatt, Athlete

The top-rated uncommitted player in the state of Tennessee, Wyatt originally planned on committing early this month but appears to be nearing a decision once again according to Rivals’ Chad Simmons.

Tennessee and Vanderbilt have long been the top two contenders for Wyatt while Oklahoma and Louisville have also tried to get involved. It’s a unique recruitment with the 6-foot-4, 195-pound athlete potentially playing receiver, safety or even outside linebacker in college.

Wyatt ranks as a four-star recruit and the No. 48 player in the country according to the 247sports team rankings. He also ranks as the No. 2 player in the state of Tennessee.
