
Harry Potter Night wasn’t the only magical element at play for the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers on Thursday night.
Blake Burke’s bat was, too.
Dressed in a Gryffindor-inspired jersey to go along with the theme of the night, Burke walked it off in extra innings in a 5-4 win over the Lake County Captains.
With two outs in the bottom of the 10th, the Timber Rattlers had runners on second and third with Burke stepping up to the plate. The former Tennessee champion worked a full count before knocking a ball into deep left-center field to score the game-winning run.

Through 94 games in High-A ball this season, Burke is hitting .290 with five home runs, 48 RBIs, and 12 stolen bases for the T-Rats.
He’s also got 21 doubles, two triples, 49 walks, and 93 strikeouts in his 346 at-bats this season.
After helping Tennessee win the 2024 National Championship, Burke was drafted 34th overall by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 2024 MLB Draft. He signed a $2.1 million contract.
