Tennessee football’s season opener is still four weeks away, but DraftKings Sportsbook has released the betting lines of four of the Vols’ biggest games this season.
Tennessee is 13.5-point favorites in its season opener against Syracuse at Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta. The over/under for the non conference matchup is set at 54.5.
The Orange are coming off a strong first season under Fran Brown, but the expectation is for Syracuse to take a step back after losing starting quarterback Kyle McCord and a number of other key players from its 2024 team.
Of the four Tennessee game lines that DraftKings has posted, the Syracuse game is the only one the Vols are currently favored in.

Tennessee is 7.5-point home underdogs against Georgia at Neyland Stadium. The over/under is set at 50.5 for the early season SEC showdown.
The Vols are 12.5-point underdogs at Alabama and are four-point underdogs at Florida. DraftKings has not posted the over/under for either matchups. Alabama’s Bryant-Denny Stadium and Florida’s Ben Hill Griffin Stadium have both been house of horrors for Tennessee. The Vols last one in both buildings during the 2003 season.
While Tennessee is underdogs in three of the four games with betting lines, the Vols will likely be favorites in most games on their schedules. Tennessee would likely only be slight favorites against Oklahoma right now, but Josh Heupel’s team would likely be over a touchdown favorite against everyone else on its schedule.
Tennessee’s regular-season over/under win total is currently at 8.5 according to DraftKings. The sportsbook believes it’s more likely that the Vols win eight or less games than nine or more. Tennessee is +115 to hit the over and -135 to hit the under.
