Rivals released its updated top 150 rankings for the 2026 recruiting cycle Tuesday with the summer open periods coming to a close and the top prospects emerging.

Tennessee’s recruiting board is starting to come into view as the summer comes to a close. Here’s a look at where some of the Vols’ top targets rank in the new Rivals 150 rankings.

More From RTI: Where Tennessee Basketball Lands in Latest Way-Too-Early Bracketology Update
Derron Rippey Jr, Point Guard
  • Five-star
  • No. 8 player, No. 2 point guard
  • More details: Rippey is widely considered one of the best players in the 2026 cycle. He’s officially visiting Tennessee in October but that’s one of just a number of visits he’s scheduled to take along with Alabama, North Carolina, Miami, Kentucky, Kansas, Texas, North Carolina State, Indiana and Syracuse. The Vols like Rippey a ton and are in the mix but it’ll be an uphill battle to land him.
Bryson Howard, Small Forward
  • Five-star
  • No. 11 player, No. 4 small forward
  • More details: Howard is the son of former NBA veteran Josh Howard. The five-star forward will officially visit Tennessee the same weekend as Rippey in October. Much like Rippey, Howard has an abundance of visits scheduled including to UConn, Kentucky, Duke, North Carolina and home state schools Houston, Texas and Texas A&M.
Miles Sadler, Point Guard
  • Four-star
  • No. 19 player, No. 3 point guard
  • More details: Sadler is one of the top targets in Tennessee’s 2026 recruiting board and is up there with Rippey as one of the top point guards in the class. Sadler is officially visiting Tennessee in early September and also has a visit scheduled to Oklahoma. The Vols and Sooners are considered the two loaders in his recruitment early on.
Jacob Webber, Small Forward
  • Four-star
  • No. 30 player, No. 10 small forward
  • More details: Webber is a major riser in Rivals ratings with most other recruiting services having him as a low four-star outside the top 100. Webber told RTI Monday that he is officially visiting Tennessee in September. A Nebraska native who is playing his senior prep season in Indiana, Webber also has a visit scheduled to Purdue.
Bo Ogden, Small Forward
  • Four-star
  • No. 43 player, No. 13 small forward
  • More details: Ogden is the only player in this section that does not yet have a visit scheduled to Tennessee. But the four-star wing has the Vols in his top six. Bo’s father Chris is the GM at Texas and the Longhorns are going to be really tough to beat here. But if anyone has a chance it’s Tennessee. Chris worked for Rick Barnes at both Texas and Tennessee.
Gage Mayfield, Small Forward
  • Four-star
  • No. 88 player, No. 33 small forward
  • More details: Mayfield officially visited Tennessee back in June and the Vols made his top five along with Florida State, Oklahoma, Vanderbilt and Michigan. The Alabama native visited Florida State last week and also has visits scheduled to the other three contenders.
