Four-star wing Manny Green plans on officially visiting Tennessee basketball from Oct. 11-13, he told RTI Tuesday night. It’s one of four official visits Green has scheduled for the upcoming months including Cal, South Florida and Virginia Tech.

Green ranks as a four-star recruit and the No. 89 player in the 2026 recruiting cycle according to the 247sports composite rankings. He also ranks as the No. 36 small forward and No. 5 player in the state of Georgia. 247sports own rankings are even higher on Green, tabbing him as the No. 66 player and No. 27 small forward in the country.

The 6-foot-6, 205-pound wing is a standout at Cedar Grove High School in Ellenwood, Georgia where he helped lead the Saints to a 28-4 record and a region championship in his junior season.

Green is one of two recruiting targets that Tennessee currently plans on hosting for a visit the second weekend of October— the same weekend the football team hosts Arkansas at Neyland Stadium. Four-star combo guard LJ Smith will unofficially visit Tennessee that weekend.

Tennessee does not hold a commitment in the 2026 recruiting cycle but its board is beginning to come into place. Four-star point guard Miles Sadler is officially visiting Tennessee in early September while five-star point guard Deron Rippey Jr and four-star wing Bryson Howard are officially visiting Tennessee the same weekend in October.

Four-star wing Jacob Webber, who was one of the highest risers in the latest Rivals rankings, also has an official visit scheduled to Tennessee for early October.

The Vols also hosted four-star wing Gage Mayfield, four-star shooting guard Junior County and three-star point guard Sam “Deuce” Simmons Jr on visits over the summer. County excluded Tennessee from his top five last month while Simmons was further down Tennessee’s board and committed to Richmond.

Tennessee has cast a wide net at wing in the 2026 recruiting cycle, having either hosted or scheduled visits with four-stars Green, Mayfield, Howard and Webber. Four-star Bo Ogden also has Tennessee basketball in his top six.
