Tennessee Football had its 11th fall camp practice on campus on Thursday morning in Knoxville. But while the practice wasn’t open to the media, we still had the chance to speak with a new position group before the Vols kick off the regular season slate against Syracuse in Atlanta on August 30.
Tennessee had its specialists talk to the media on Thursday, which provided some interesting conversations and notes. UT special teams coordinator Evan Crabtree kicked off the interviews for about seven minutes as he talked about his adjustment to Tennessee, the Vols’ kick return game, the preparation for the kickers, and much more.
UT also had four specialists speak on Thursday, including punter Jackson Ross, kicker Max Gilbert, longsnapper Bennett Brady, and kicker Josh Turbyville. Each provided some preseason notes and storylines as they prepare for the 2025 season ahead.
