Tennessee head coach Josh Heupel met with the media for nearly 12 minutes on Friday morning. The press conference came directly after the Vols’ second fall camp scrimmage from Neyland Stadium with just over two weeks remaining until the start of the regular season. Tennessee will kick off its 2025 slate against Syracuse on Aug. 30 from Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
Heupel provided some detail on some of the Vols’ more pressing questions from fall camp on Friday. He spoke about the quarterback room’s performance, what he wants to see from the quarterbacks over the next two weeks, the offensive line and run game, Jermod McCoy’s status, work from the special teams unit, tackling and penalties, and much more.
