Four-star shooting guard Jasiah Jervis has lined up an official visit to Tennessee basketball on Oct. 24, multiple sources inside the Vols’ program told RTI Tuesday.

*Update: Jervis released his top eight Wednesday including Florida, Illinois, Michigan State, NC State, Oregon, Pitt, Tennessee and Texas.

The visit sets up a massive recruiting weekend for Rick Barnes and his staff in the 2026 recruiting cycle. Five-star point guard Derron Rippey Jr and four-star wing Bryson Howard will also officially visit Tennessee that weekend. Rippey is one of two point guards Tennessee is heavily targeting in the 2026 cycle while Jervis and Howard are the perhaps top shooting guard and small forward on the Vols’ board, respectively.

Four-star power forward Cody Peck also has an official visit to Tennessee schedule for that same weekend but Peck is lower on the Vols’ recruiting board with a source telling RTI it’s uncertain if that visit will end up happening.

Jervis ranks as a four-star recruit and the No. 63 player in the 247sports composite rankings. The 6-foot-4 shooting guard is a native of the Bronx, ranking as the No. 4 player in the state of New York and the No. 10 shooting guard in the 2026 cycle.

Tennessee does not hold a commitment in the 2026 recruiting cycle but its board is beginning to come into place. Four-star point guard Miles Sadler is officially visiting Tennessee in early September while five-Rippey and Howard are also top prospects visiting the same weekend as Jervis.

Four-star wing Manny Green has an official visit scheduled with Tennessee for October and four-star wing Jacob Webber, who was one of the highest risers in the latest Rivals rankings, also has an official visit scheduled to Tennessee for September. Four-star combo guard LJ Smith is unofficially visiting Tennessee in September

The Vols also hosted four-star wing Gage Mayfield, four-star shooting guard Junior County and three-star point guard Sam “Deuce” Simmons Jr on visits over the summer. County excluded Tennessee from his top five last month while Simmons was further down Tennessee’s board and committed to Richmond.
