Four-star power forward Cody Peck has scheduled an official visit with Tennessee basketball on Oct. 24, 247sports’ Dushawn London first reported and a source confirmed to RTI.

The 6-foot-10 power forward boasts offers from Clemson, Creighton, Dayton, Georgetown, LSU, NC State, SMU and Wake Forest. He’s set up two official visits at this point, visiting Dayton in September and then Tennessee in October.

Peck ranks as a four-star recruit and the No. 82 player in the country according to the 247sports composite rankings. A Davidson native, Peck also ranks as the top player in the state of North Carolina and the No. 11 power forward in the 2026 recruiting cycle.

While Peck is a four-star recruit, he is a bit further down Tennessee’s board right now because power forward isn’t a position of need for the Vols’ in the 2026 cycle. Tennessee has two strong power forwards in Cade Phillips and Jaylen Carey and expects each to return for their senior seasons in 2026-27.

Tennessee does not hold a commitment in the 2026 recruiting cycle but its board is beginning to come into place. Four-star point guard Miles Sadler is officially visiting Tennessee in early September while five-star point guard Deron Rippey Jr and four-star wing Bryson Howard are officially visiting Tennessee the same weekend as Peck in October.

Four-star wing Manny Green has an official visit scheduled with Tennessee for October and four-star wing Jacob Webber, who was one of the highest risers in the latest Rivals rankings, also has an official visit scheduled to Tennessee for September.

The Vols also hosted four-star wing Gage Mayfield, four-star shooting guard Junior County and three-star point guard Sam “Deuce” Simmons Jr on visits over the summer. County excluded Tennessee from his top five last month while Simmons was further down Tennessee’s board and committed to Richmond.
