Tennessee football and Georgia are on a collision course for the most highly anticipated game of the Week 3 slate. Before the meeting inside Neyland Stadium, the Vegas betting odds have been updated to kickoff game week. As of Sunday morning, the Vols are 6.5-point underdogs in the matchup.
This is a one-point change in favor of Tennessee since the odds settled in the offseason. Tennessee is now +190 on the moneyline with Georgia sitting at -235. This is naturally a small change from UT’s +220 and UGA’s -275 in the offseason, as well.
So far, betters are largely split in picks. 52% of the money on FanDuel has been placed on Tennessee to cover. The betters are split exactly in half with 50% picking the Vols and 50% siding with the Bulldogs.
Through two games, Tennessee has covered in both contests. While Georgia has won both of its opening games, the Bulldogs failed to cover their spread in both.

As far as bigger picture odds, Tennessee sits at +5500 to win the national championship. This is the 17th-best odds in the nation and ninth in the SEC behind Georgia, Texas, LSU, Alabama, Oklahoma, Texas A&M, Auburn and Ole Miss. The odds to win the SEC title are at +2200, the eighth-best in the conference.
To win the Heisman Trophy for the first time in school history, Joey Aguilar is at +5000. This is a boost from his +8000 odds from the start of the season. Aguilar’s odds are tied for the 22nd-best odds in the country. No other Vol has listed odds to win the award.
