After two non conference wins to begin the season, Tennessee football opens up SEC play Saturday afternoon in a marque showdown against rival Georgia. The eyes of the college football world are on Knoxville this week with ESPN’s College Gameday coming to Knoxville for the rivalry showdown. With College Gameday comes ESPN’s top broadcasting crew. Chris Fowler, Kirk Herbstreit and Holly Rowe are on the call for ABC.

Despite all the big game attention, Tennessee-Georgia kicks off at 3:30 p.m. ET and not in the 7 p.m. ET primetime spot. LSU’s SEC opener against Florida is the ABC night game with the network making the decision before the season began.

But after South Florida upset Florida in Gainesville this week, ESPN changed course and took College Gameday and its top broadcasting crew to Knoxville instead.

Other top games in week three of the college football season include Florida-LSU, Georgia Tech-Clemson, Wisconsin-Alabama and Notre Dame-Texas A&M.
