On Sunday, you didn’t have to look too hard to find Vegas offering a betting spread of -7.5 in favor of Georgia in its game against Tennessee football. On Monday, it took a hard swing toward the Vols, sitting at just -4.5 for the Bulldogs. Now, on Tuesday morning, FanDuel offers the spread at just -3.5 for UGA.
Naturally, this moves Tennessee on the moneyline to +152. As the favorite, Georgia is at -184. A swing of up to four points in just two days typically means a good bit of money has come in on one side of the line or there has been a significant change in the matchup due to injury or other news. With no developments happening so far, you have to follow the money.
According to FanDuel, 53% of the money is on Tennessee to cover. That’s a drop from the 60% it was on Monday. In terms of total bets, it is down to a 50/50 split. It was at 56% for the Vols on Monday. The bets starting to even out make you think it’ll probably settle around this 3.5-point mark in favor of UGA.

Both teams are undefeated going into the game, with the Vols defeating Syracuse in Atlanta and ETSU, and the Bulldogs moving past Marshall and Austin Peay. Against the spread, Tennessee has covered in both games. Georgia is yet to cover.
The over/under point total has moved down one point since it opened, as well, to 49.5 combined points between the teams. That isn’t nearly as dramatic of a drop, but does show some money trending toward the under. So far, both of Tennessee’s games have gone over. Georgia’s pair were split.
Kickoff is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. ET and will air on ABC. ESPN’s College GameDay will be on campus, with it being dubbed the game of the week. Neyland Stadium is also holding its annual ‘Checker Neyland’ game with fans coordinating orange and white colored sections to create the checker effect.
