Who Is Announcing Tennessee Football vs. UAB? Broadcast Details For Non Conference Matchup

Tennessee football is looking to bounce back from its first loss of the 2025 season when they host non conference foe UAB at Neyland Stadium Saturday afternoon. Taylor Zarzour, Matt Stinchcomb and Alyssa Lang are on the call for the SEC Network. Kickoff is at 12:45 p.m. ET.

It’s Tennessee’s second game in the early slate this season with the Vols playing Syracuse at noon ET on ABC. The Vols played both ETSU and Georgia in the afternoon slate and have yet to play a night game this season. Saturday’s matchup between the Vols and Blazers is the first Tennessee game that the Zarzour, Stinchcomb, Lang  crew has called this season.

The college football week four slate is solid but not elite. Miami-Florida is in the ABC night slot, Auburn-Oklahoma is in the ABC afternoon slot and Arkansas-Memphis is in the ABC noon slot. Other top games include Texas Tech-Utah at noon ET on FOX, Michigan-Nebraska at 3:30 p.m. ET on CBS and Indiana-Illinois at 7:30 p.m. ET on NBC.

Other week four SEC games include Missouri-South Carolina, Ole Miss-Tulane and Vanderbilt-Georgia State.

Tennessee is off to a 2-1 start, routing Syracuse and ETSU to begin the season before losing a 44-41 overtime heartbreaker against Georgia a week ago. The Vols vanquished the questions about Josh Heupel’s offense against Georgia but couldn’t make the plays needed to seal the win late in the game.

UAB is off to a 2-1 start to the season, earning wins over Alabama State and Akron while dropping its conference opener against Navy 38-24 in week two. Trent Dilfer is in his third season as UAB’s head coach and needs a strong season to salvage his job.

Tennessee football is 39.5-point favorites over UAB according to the DraftKings Sportsbook. The over/under is set at 66.5.

It’s the sixth ever meeting between Tennessee and UAB. The Vols hold a 5-0 record in the series with the last meeting coming in a 2019, a 30-7 Volunteer win.
