After three straight weeks of the traditional orange-and-white threads to open the season, Tennessee Football is switching things up for its Week 4 matchup against UAB this Saturday afternoon in Neyland Stadium.

As announced by UT Football on social media, Tennessee will wear its all-orange uniforms for the first time this season when the Volunteers host the Blazers in an early afternoon game. It’s been more than a year since we’ve seen the all-orange uniforms in action. Tennessee last wore them in Week 3 of the 2024 season in a home game against Kent State.

Tennessee’s all-orange combination includes white helmets, orange jerseys, orange pants, orange accessories, and white cleats.

Here’s a look at what Tennessee’s uniform history has looked like so far this season:

  • Week 1 (vs Syracuse in Atlanta): Orange-and-White
  • Week 2 (vs ETSU in Knoxville): Orange-and-White
  • Week 3 (vs Georgia in Knoxville): Orange-and-White
  • Week 4 (vs UAB in Knoxville): All-Orange

UAB has not announced its uniforms at the time of this publication on Thursday morning. The Blazers did reveal their Week 3 uniforms on the Thursday afternoon before gameday, suggesting that their Week 4 threads could be released later on Thursday.

Tennessee opened the season with wins over Syracuse and East Tennessee State before falling to Georgia in overtime last weekend. The Vols have been led by a potent offense behind the arm of transfer quarterback Joey Aguilar, who currently sits No. 2 in the SEC in both passing yards (906) and passing touchdowns (9). Tennessee wide receiver Chris Brazzell has emerged as a favored target for Aguilar in the passing game with 364 yards and five touchdowns through the air in the first three games.

Brazzell has broken out so much that NFL Draft analysts are even considering him as an early candidate for the top receiver spot in the 2026 NFL Draft.

Tennessee EDGE rusher Joshua Josephs has established himself as one of the premier pass rushers in the college football landscape this season. After playing a rotational role behind first-round pick James Pearce Jr. last season, Josephs has grabbed the spotlight and run away with it here through three games. He’s tied for the SEC lead in both sacks (3) and forced fumbles (2).

No. 15 Tennessee will host UAB at 12:45 p.m. ET on Saturday afternoon in Neyland Stadium. Stay tuned to Rocky Top Insider for live, on-site coverage of the game this weekend.
