As the Lady Vols basketball program looks to stay hot on the recruiting trail, it is hosting yet another five-star prospect for an official visit. Bella Flemings, the No. 12 recruit in the 2026 class, according to 247 composite ratings, will be in Knoxville for the weekend, when the football team hosts Arkansas.
This is the final visit of a string of official visits Flemings is taking among her finalists. She started by checking out Miami, before seeing Duke, Baylor and then TCU.
Flemings stands at 6-foot and is listed as a small forward by 247. She is the No. 3 small forward and No. 2 player out of Texas on the site’s composite rankings. She is out of San Antonio, Texas.
“We might have gotten a glimpse of what Flemings will be at the next level during Overtime Select Championship Weekend,” Director of Women’s Basketball Scouting Brandon Clay wrote. “Flemings’ ability to make shots and keep Kate Harpring from scoring 30 points in the title game caught the attention of everyone in the media row. Flemings prevented Harpring from getting easy baskets down the stretch of the game, which is much easier said than done. On the offensive end, Flemings showed range beyond the 3-point line and a willingness to rebound as well. Her brother, Kingston, is a highly regarded prospect in his own right.”

Flemings has not publicly announced what the timeline is on her decision. However, it’s common that commitments can be set after getting official visit looks over the fall. If this is the case, it’s a great opportunity for Tennessee to be the last team she sees.
Tennessee currently holds one commitment in the 2026 cycle in the form of power forward Oliviyah Edwards. ESPNW considers her the No. 2 overall prospect in the class. She committed while on her official visit to UT a few weeks ago.
The Lady Vols are also getting in the mix for the top-ranked prospect in the 2027 class. Tennessee will host Kathleena Smith on Monday for an unofficial visit. Smith stands at 5-foot-6 out of Ontario, Canada. According to both 247‘s rankings and the site’s composite rankings, she is the No. 1 overall player in the class.
Smith already holds an offer from Tennessee, alongside the likes of Iowa, North Carolina, Michigan State, Michigan, LSU, South Carolina, UCLA, USC and UConn.
