It’s official. The Savannah Bananas are heading to Tennessee Football’s iconic Neyland Stadium venue in Spring 2026. The team will make a stop in Knoxville, TN, as part of its 2026 Football Stadium Tour.

The Bananas will take on the Texas Tailgaters on May 23 in Neyland.

Other stops on the Bananas’ football stadium tour include Texas A&M’s Kyle Field, Oregon’s Autzen Stadium, the New England Patriots’ Gillette Stadium, Nebraska’s Memorial Stadium, Florida State’s Doak Campbell Stadium, and North Carolina’s Kenan Stadium.

The Savannah Bananas have gained massive momentum in recent months, thanks to their viral success on social media and a partnership with ESPN. The game, which has evolved into a full-fledged six-team league in 2026, aims to enhance entertainment and audience interaction in the sport of baseball.

Former Tennessee baseball player Liam Spence is part of the Banana Ball universe. He’s played with the Firefighters during their 2025 campaign and tour around the United States.

Here’s a look at the game of Banana Ball, according to its official website:

  • “We play Banana Ball– the fastest and most entertaining game of baseball.
  • Our players perform choreographed dances every game – Taylor Swift, Morgan Wallen, Mariah Carey – You name it, they’ve danced to it.
  • Every game we have a 3-2-2, which stands for 3rd inning, second batter, second pitch. These are unique in-game pre-pitch dances that have combined together for over 300 million views on TikTok.
  • We are the only baseball team to play in kilts. That’s right, kilts.
  • Our players perform in over-the-top music videos like Old Town RoadCan’t Stop the Peeling, and I Don’t Dance.
  • Our hitters walk-ups are legendary. Bananas may be escorted to the plate by the Banana Pep Band, walk down the yellow carpet wearing the finest Dolce and Banana, or they may even introduce themselves.
  • We are known for our epic scoring celebrations. From running through the crowd to performing fully choreographed country line dances. When we score, you never know what will happen next.
  • We have the World’s Tallest Hitter and Pitcher with Dakota “Stilts” Albritton who stands 10 feet tall.”

In addition to hosting Tennessee Football games, Neyland Stadium is also becoming an entertainment destination for East Tennessee. On the same day that Banana Ball announced that it would be part of its Spring 2026 tour, Tennessee also revealed that country music star and 11-time CMA Award winner Luke Combs is bringing his “My Kinda Saturday Night Tour” to Neyland Stadium on May 2.

This also comes after East Tennessee native and country music superstar Morgan Wallen brought his tour to Neyland Stadium for two nights last September:
