The SEC Network’s hit Saturday morning gameday show, SEC Nation, is officially heading to Tuscaloosa for this weekend’s Third Saturday in October rivalry game between Top 15 foes Tennessee and Alabama.

The No. 6 Crimson Tide will host the No. 11 Volunteers in the ABC nightcap at 7:30 p.m. ET from Bryant-Denny Stadium.

This will be the second time that Paul Finebaum and the crew are set up for a Tennessee game so far this season. SEC Nation had the preview for the Vols’ season-opener against Syracuse from Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Tennessee won that game by a score of 45-26 and will look to make it 2-0 this weekend with the SEC Nation crew in attendance.

ESPN’s Marty & McGee show will kick things off in the morning at 9 a.m. ET, followed by the two-hour SEC Nation broadcast at 10 a.m. ET. Both programs will be on the SEC Network.

Tennessee and Alabama are riding multi-game win streaks heading into Saturday’s rivalry game. The Vols have won three straight after an overtime loss to Georgia, including two SEC games against Mississippi State in Starkville and Arkansas in Knoxville. The Crimson Tide, meanwhile, has been one of the most fascinating stories from the sport this season. After dropping its season-opener to Florida State in embarrassing fashion, Alabama has rattled off five-straight wins en route to a Top 6 ranking. The Crimson Tide are 3-0 in SEC play with wins at Georgia, against Vanderbilt, and at Missouri.

The stakes will be high on Saturday night as both teams look to avoid a critical second loss on the season, but Tennessee could really use a ranked win on its resume. A win over Alabama in Tuscaloosa would be a massive feather in the Vols’ cap heading into the back half of the season.

Tennessee is currently sitting as a point underdog for Saturday’s game. ESPN’s Football Power Index only gives the Vols a 27.6% chance to win, which is a number that has been steadily falling over the season as the Crimson Tide has kept winning.
