Who Is Announcing Tennessee Football vs. Kentucky? Broadcast Details For SEC Matchup

Tennessee football is bouncing back from its second loss of the 2025 season when it heads on the road to face Kentucky this Saturday. Kickoff from Kroger Field is at 7:45 p.m. ET on Saturday night with the SEC Network broadcasting the game.

On the call for Tennessee-Kentucky Saturday night on the SEC Network— Tom Hart, Jordan Rodgers and Cole Cubelic. The Hart, Rodgers, Cubelic trio typically calls the SEC Network night game. This is the first Tennessee game that the trio is calling this season.

This is Tennessee football’s second straight night game but just the second night game that they’ve played this season. The Vols have played two games in the early, noon, time slot and four games in the afternoon game slot including their SEC matchups against Mississippi State and Arkansas.

The SEC week nine slate is a strong one. Texas A&M travels to LSU in the ABC primetime slot. Alabama is facing South Carolina on ABC in the 3:30 p.m. ET time slot. ESPN’s College Gameday is in Nashville for Vanderbilt-Missouri which ESPN is broadcasting at the 3:30 p.m. ET time slot. The other high level SEC game is Ole Miss at Oklahoma at noon ET.

Tennessee enters the week nine rivalry matchup at Kentucky coming off a disappointing performance last week at Alabama. The Vols committed a number of self inflicted mistakes in a 37-20 loss at Alabama. It’s Tennessee’s second loss of the season and gives the Vols no room for error the rest of the way.

If Tennessee is going to make it back to the College Football Playoffs for the second straight year, they must run the table including SEC matchups with Kentucky, Oklahoma, Florida and Vanderbilt.

Kentucky has struggled again this season and enters this week’s matchup against Tennessee with a 2-4 (0-4 SEC) record. The Wildcats have been competitive in both their home SEC losses, however, falling to Ole Miss 30-23 back in September and falling to Texas 16-13 in overtime a week ago.

Tennessee football is currently 9.5-point favorites against Kentucky according to the DKSportsbook. The over/under is set at 54.5.
