
The kickoff time and broadcast details are set for Tennessee football’s matchup against Oklahoma at Neyland Stadium. Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m. ET and ABC is broadcasting the game. The SEC originally announced it in a flex spot with Ole Miss-South Carolina.
After Alabama came back to beat South Carolina and Tennessee knocked off Kentucky, it set the stage for Tennessee to host the ABC primetime game.
Even though Tennessee-Oklahoma is in the ABC primetime slot, the top broadcast crew with Chris Fowler, Kirk Herbstreit and Holly Rowe may not call the game. The Florida-Georgia rivalry game is at 3:30 p.m. ET on ABC. The World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party is always an afternoon kickoff and will likely be on ABC going forward.
After not playing a single night game in its first six games of the season, Tennessee is now playing three straight night games with road matchups at Alabama and Kentucky before the home matchup against Oklahoma. The Vols have played four afternoon games and two games in the noon time slot.

The matchup with Oklahoma is Tennessee’s first home night game of the season. With it coming a day after Halloween, it will almost certainly be the Vols’ annual “dark mode” game.
The early November SEC matchup is highly significant for both team’s College Football Playoff hopes. With two losses each, Tennessee and Oklahoma must win out of its going to make it back to the playoffs for a second straight season.
Oklahoma climbed into the nation’s top five earlier this month but has dropped two of its last three games, falling to Texas and Ole Miss around a win at South Carolina.
Tennessee and Oklahoma have faced off just five times in program history. The Sooners hold a 3-2 all time lead in the series with Tennessee winning the lone SEC matchup 25-15 a season ago in Norman.
Other top SEC games on the first Saturday of November include Vanderbilt-Texas, South Carolina-Ole Miss and Florida-Georgia.
