Tennessee football holds the commitment of the top-ranked wide receiver in the 2026 class, Tristen Keys, and he’s playing like it. In Hattiesburg’s 42-21 win over George County, Keys went up and grabbed two highlight reel catches.
His first was to get the scoring started in the game. He got one-on-one coverage and had a jump ball thrown to him from the 35. He got up and high-pointed the ball for the touchdown.

The second was later in the first quarter when he made a diving catch in between three defenders. It ultimately set up a touchdown to give his team a 14-7 lead.

More From RTI: How Tennessee Football Rotated on the Offensive Line in Win at Kentucky
Keys clocks in as the No. 4 player in the 2026 class, according to 247. He is the No. 1 receiver in the class and the top-ranked player from Mississippi.
He was initially committed to LSU, but Josh Heupel, Kelsey Pope and the Vols never backed off. The result was pairing him up with the No. 1 quarterback in the class, Faizon Brandon.
“A potential game-wrecker on the outside that can attack all three levels and constantly challenge defenses,” 247 director of scouting Andrew Ivins wrote about Keys. “Pairs elite ball skills together with dynamic route running, superior athleticism and a long-levered frame. Creates separation with his suddenness and will break off defensive backs with snappy cuts. Attacks the football with confidence and has a rather high success rate in contested-catch situations, usually creating an advantage with his natural bounce. Competitive with the ball in his hands and can hit the throttle to capitalize on his catch-and-run opportunities…”
Keys and Brandon are two-of-four five-stars committed to Tennessee this cycle. 247 ranks offensive tackle Gabriel Osenda as a five-star and its composite rankings add in athlete Salesi Moa, as well.
