Five-star point guard Miles Sadler released his top six including Tennessee basketball Wednesday afternoon, he confirmed to RTI. The Vols joined Maryland, Oklahoma, Southern Cal, UCLA and West Virginia in Sadler’s top group.
Sadler ranks as a five-star recruit and the No. 26 player in the country according to the 247sports composite rankings. The 5-foot-10 prospect ranks as the No. 3 point guard and the No. 3 player in the state of Arizona in the 2026 cycle. A Canada native, Sadler plays his prep basketball at Bella Vista Prep in Scottsdale.
The blue-chip point guard officially visited Tennessee back in September as the Vols have long been after the blue-chip point guard.
“Everything about seeing what the campus looks like when it’s alive during a football game was something I really was thinking about,” Sadler told RTI following the visit. “Everything about the campus and the atmosphere and the people there are very supportive. They really support all their athletic programs which I think is a very good thing.”

Sadler has since taken visits to both Oklahoma and West Virginia. He told RTI Wednesday that he doesn’t have any other official visits lined up at the moment but that he’ll likely take a few more trips. UCLA, USC and Maryland are the likely choices— especially the two west coast schools.
Tennessee basketball currently boasts three commits in the 2026 recruiting cycle including four-star wing Ralph Scott, four-star wing Manny Green and three-star point guard Marquis Clark. Rick Barnes and his staff do not believe that Clark’s commitment will affect their ability to land a high level point guard in this class.
The Vols are also recruiting five-star point guard Deron Rippey Jr. who officially visited Tennessee this past weekend for its exhibition matchup against Duke. Four-star shooting guard Jasiah Jervis also officially visited Tennessee last weekend. The Vols are also recruiting four-star power forward Cody Peck.
