It doesn’t count, but the Lady Vols basketball team is off to a great start in the 2025-26 season. In the exhibition against Division II Columbus State, Tennessee won 148-48 behind efficient shooting and disruptive defense. The No. 8 Lady Vols will get the season officially underway on Nov. 4 in Greensboro when they face No. 9 NC State for one of the most-anticipated season openers across the country. The home debut for Tennessee against ETSU on Nov. 7.
