
Tennessee football is back home on Saturday night when the Vols host Oklahoma in a primetime SEC matchup at Neyland Stadium in Knoxville.
While Tennessee-Oklahoma is the primetime SEC game of the week, ESPN’s College Gameday is in Salt Lake City as No. 24 Utah hosts No. 17 Cincinnati in a marquee Big 12 matchup. The showdown has major Big 12 Championship and College Football Playoff ramifications.
In Knoxville, Tennessee hosts Oklahoma in what is effectively a College Football playoff elimination game. Both the Vols and Sooners enter November with two losses and must run the table if they’re going to make the 12-team playoff this season.
Oklahoma climbed all the way to No. 6 in the AP Poll back in mid October before dropping two of its last three games against Texas and Ole Miss. Tennessee dropped its second game of the season two weeks ago at Alabama before rolling Kentucky last week in Lexington.
As of Saturday morning, Tennessee is 2.5-point favorites against Oklahoma according to the DKSportsbook. The over/under is set at 54.5. Kickoff between Tennessee and Oklahoma is at 7:30 ET Saturday night. Chris Fowler, Kirk Herbstreit and Holly Rowe are on the call for ABC.
