On Sunday, Tennessee football landed its third and highest-ranked commitment of the 2027 class. The Vols reeled in in-state offensive lineman Princeton Uwaifo to jump up in the cycle’s rankings.
Uwaifo is an in-state prospect from Siegel High School in Murfreesboro, TN. The 6-foot-6, 316-pound offensive tackle is one of the top players in the class and at his position, and could see a rise up the rankings as the cycle continues forward.
According to 247Sports’ Composite Rankings, Uwaifo ranks as the No. 123 player in the class, the No. 13 offensive tackle in the cycle and the No. 5 player from the state of Tennessee.
Tennessee’s pursuit of the in-state prospect paid off with a big-time commitment on Sunday. Uwaifo was a frequent visitor on Rocky Top while holding scholarship offers from programs such as Auburn, Missouri, Ohio State, South Carolina and Vanderbilt.
