Tennessee Football was back in the building on Monday as the team prepares for a rival clash against Florida this Saturday night in Gainesville. The game will serve as the Vols’ penultimate regular-season contest before hosting in-state foe Vanderbilt in the regular-season finale next weekend.
The Vols are coming off a 42-9 victory against New Mexico State last Saturday. The game was exceptionally sharp for the Volunteers, but Tennessee still came out and handled business while resting up a bunch of key players for the Florida game.
Tennessee head coach Josh Heupel kicked off the week with a press conference for the local media on Monday afternoon. Heupel spoke about Boo Carter’s status, what he’s seen from the Gators on film, Joey Aguilar’s interceptions, Ty Remond’s improvement, and much more.
Tennessee also had three starters speak to the media on Monday, with cornerback Colton Hood, linebacker Jeremiah Telander, and wide receiver Chris Brazzell.
