Tennessee Football will wear its all-white road uniform combination on Saturday for a night game against Florida in The Swamp. It’ll be the third time that Tennessee has worn the all-white threads this season.
The Vols will be wearing white helmets, white jerseys, white pants, and white cleats.

Here’s a look at what combinations the Vols have used this season:
- Week 1 (vs Syracuse in Atlanta): Orange-and-White
- Week 2 (vs ETSU in Knoxville): Orange-and-White
- Week 3 (vs Georgia in Knoxville): Orange-and-White
- Week 4 (vs UAB in Knoxville): All-Orange
- Week 5 (at Mississippi State in Starkville): All-Orange
- Week 6 (BYE)
- Week 7 (vs Arkansas in Knoxville): Orange-and-White
- Week 8 (at Alabama in Tuscaloosa): All-White
- Week 9 (at Kentucky in Lexington): All-White
- Week 10 (vs Oklahoma): Dark-Mode
- Week 11 (BYE)
- Week 12 (vs New Mexico State): Smokey Grey
- Week 13 (at Florida): All-White
The only interesting note here is that it appears that this will be a season without the white-on-orange road look. The Vols did break out the all-orange threads for their road game against Mississippi State during the Bulldogs’ home white-out, so maybe that served as the season’s orange britches game. The other three road trips, with Alabama, Kentucky, and Florida, are all in the Stormtrooper whites.
With just two games remaining in the regular season, Saturday’s contest is a huge test for the Vols. Can Tennessee go into a road atmosphere and get a much-needed win? Can Tennessee break a 22-year losing streak in Gainesville? The Florida Gators have had a terrible season, but The Swamp can often feel cursed for Tennessee this century. Josh Heupel’s Vols will need to step up to the challenge, especially considering next week’s regular-season finale is against Vanderbilt.
While the playoffs are out of the question, these final two rivalry games for Tennessee will be the deciding factor on whether the Vols go 7-5, 8-4, or 9-3.
Florida will host No. 20 Tennessee at 7:30 p.m. ET on Saturday night in Gainesville. Stay tuned to Rocky Top Insider for live, on-site coverage of the game coming up this weekend.
