Prediction
This one should get ugly. Coppin State is not a great team, and it’s in the midst of an absolute gauntlet with Oklahoma, Georgia and South Carolina still on the schedule. After getting hammered in three other buy games to this point, it’s easy to see this team just trying to get to conference play in one piece.
The Lady Vols are also coming off their best game yet. Tennessee looked strong in all phases of the game on the road against MTSU, including the press. That’s the area I think the Lady Vols will exploit early in this one. I expect Coppin State to turn the ball over in the backcourt plenty of times early, leading to easy UT points.
Expect a large lead early and a comfortable win for the Lady Vols.
