No. 19 Tennessee and No. 14 Vanderbilt will clash in a high-stakes rivalry game in Neyland Stadium this Saturday afternoon. It’ll be the regular-season finale for both programs, as the Vols aim to hit the nine-win mark and the Commodores look to make a late push into the College Football Playoffs.

It’s the biggest game in the history of the rivalry, and it’s all going down this Saturday afternoon in Knoxville.

Tennessee opened the week as 3.5-point favorites, according to FanDuel. The Vols are currently a point favorite entering the game on Saturday.

More From RTI: Tennessee Bowl Projections: Will The Vols Be Bound For Florida This Postseason?

Tennessee enters the game on the heels of a streak-breaking win in The Swamp over Florida last weekend. The Vols hadn’t won in Gainesville since 2003, but took care of business last Saturday. Tennessee quarterback Joey Aguilar surpassed 3,000 passing yards on the season in the win, and the Vols’ defense had its best showing in an SEC game this season. Tennessee will need similar performances from both sides of the ball against the Commodores this weekend.

Vanderbilt, on the other hand, is in the midst of its best season in program history. The ‘Dores won’t be a lock for the college football playoffs with a win over the Vols on Saturday, but it would certainly help their case if things come down to resume comparisons. Vanderbilt is 9-2 on the season with ranked wins over LSU and Missouri, and losses to Alabama and Texas. The Commodores are pushing a Heisman campaign for quarterback Diego Pavia, who is currently third in the conference in passing yards. The dual-threat quarterback is also dangerous with his legs, as shown by his team-leading rushing statistic on the season.

Will Pavia’s Commodores stroll into Knoxville and hand Josh Heupel his first loss against Vanderbilt? Will Joey Aguilar continue a storybook season in Knoxville and put the nail in Vanderbilt’s playoff hopes? We’ll have to wait until Saturday to see.
