According to a report from On3’s Corey Bender, Tennessee football is set to host Florida offensive line commit G’Nivre Carr on an official visit this Saturday. This aligns with the Vols’ game against Vanderbilt in front of another sold-out Neyland Stadium.

This appears to be Carr’s first game day visit to UT of the season. He was in Knoxville back in April, but did not take an official visit this summer, either, before committing to the Gators on June 1 after his OV to The Swamp. After his commitment, he also got an official look at Georgia and Miami, but stayed true to his pledge.

Now, with signing day right around the corner, the Vols are attempting to make a push to flip the offensive lineman and add to their strong 2026 cycle. The addition of Carr would mean landing a three-star prospect, according to 247. He is the No. 67 interior offensive lineman in the country and No. 89 player out of Florida on the site, as well.

Carr plays for IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida.

Tennessee is on both sides of potential flips here in the final stretch. The Vols have already lost four-star athlete Legend Bey to Ohio State, and four-star athlete Salesi Moa is visiting Michigan this weekend.

However, along with Carr, targets such as Wisconsin four-star running back Amari Latimer are still seemingly on UT’s board.

The Vols currently hold 23 commitments in the 2026 class. This is good for the No. 7 class in the country, via 247 composite rankings. On the offensive line, UT boasts commitments from five-star tackle Gabriel Osenda, four-star tackle Kamari Blair, and three-star interior lineman Edward Baker.
