We’re just days from Tennessee football and Vanderbilt meeting on the gridiron for the Vols’ final game of the regular season. Ahead of the real-life meeting, I fired up the College Football 26 video game to simulate the matchup in Knoxville.
The result was a narrow win for UT following a strong performance from Tennessee quarterback Joey Aguilar and his supporting cast. We’ll see if these results come to fruition when the Vols play the Commodores in real life on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET.

I was asked about the settings I use for the simulations. My game is on Heisman difficulty with 15-minute quarters, no accelerated clock and even teams ‘off’. I put the correct team at home and match the time of the game up to the best choice possible. I don’t control either team, bench players we know will be inactive and then let it play out once and the results are as follows.
