Lady Vols basketball is back from its two-game trip to California, in which it lost to UCLA and beat Stanford. Now, Kim Caldwell’s Tennessee team is preparing for Winthrop on Sunday afternoon.
Ahead of the matchup, Caldwell met with the media on Thursday morning. She was asked about breakdowns in the press, the importance of leaving Stanford with a win, improved play from freshmen, third-quarter woes and more.
The Lady Vols’ matchup with Winthrop is scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 14, at 2 p.m. ET. The game will air on SECN+. The Eagles are coached by LVFL Semeka Randall Lay.
