Tennessee football is one of multiple teams still hard after the talents of four-star edge rusher and Oregon commit Cameron Pritchett, according to a report from Rivals. The class of 2027 prospect is apparently hearing from the Vols, Auburn, LSU and Florida State, along with the Ducks.
Pritchett has been committed to Oregon since June 2, 2025. He is considered the No. 216 prospect in the class and No. 21 edge rusher by 247.
Out of Alabaster, Alabama, he goes to Thompson. He is considered the No. 6 player from the state on 247, as well.

The Vols currently hold four commitments in the 2027 cycle. This is headlined by in-state offensive lineman Princeton Uwaifo. He ranks as the No. 110 player in the country and holds four-star status, via 247.
Three-star commitments in the boat so far include defensive lineman Kadin Fife, cornerback Kamauri Whitfield and linebacker JP Peace. The group ranks as the No. 13 class in the country on 247.
Another edge rusher in the class to keep tabs on is Andrew Rogers. He was formerly a Virginia Tech commit, but backed off the pledge a few weeks after the firing of Brent Pry. He is a high school teammate of Vols five-star quarterback signee Faizon Brandon, as well.
Tennessee has some serious recruiting momentum right now, as Josh Heupel just inked one of the best classes in the country for the 2026 cycle. His signing class clocks in as the No. 5 group in the country on 247, including signings of a trio of five-star prospects. While the Vols lost the signing of four-star athlete Legend Bey last week, there are still plenty of dynamic options that have signed to fill his role.
