Tennessee Football was on the practice field on Friday in Nashville as the Vols continue preparations for the Music City Bowl against Illinois next Tuesday evening in Nissan Stadium. The Vols and the Fighting Illini finished the season with 8-4 records and will look to close out the season strong with one final victory before the new year.

We’ve heard of a number of players who won’t be participating in the Music City Bowl next week, with both NFL Draft opt-outs and transfer portal departures, but many of the familiar faces are still out on the field putting in work before the game on Tuesday. That includes Tennessee starting quarterback Joey Aguilar, newly promoted second-string quarterback George MacIntyre, and impact linebackers Jeremiah Telander and Edwin Spillman.

The video, which is courtesy of Tennessee Athletics, shows the team going through its normal warm-ups and drills on the field at Montgomery Bell Academy on Friday. We also heard from Tennessee head coach Josh Heupel and a few select players, which can be found on the Rocky Top Insider YouTube channel.
