Tennessee Basketball lost to Arkansas in its SEC opener in Fayetteville on Saturday afternoon, but the Vols will have a chance to bounce back in conference play when they welcome Texas into the Food City Center in a late tipoff on Tuesday night. The Longhorns are coming off a three-point home loss to Mississippi State in overtime, so Texas will also be looking for its first SEC win of the year.
On Monday morning, Tennessee had head coach Rick Barnes and guard Ethan Burg speak with the media. Both spoke about the Arkansas loss and ways to improve things coming out of it, as well as a quick preview of what they’ve seen from Texas before the Longhorns roll into town.
No. 19 Tennessee (10-4, 0-1 SEC) will host Texas (9-5, 0-1 SEC) at 9:00 p.m. ET on Tuesday night.
