On Thursday, Lady Vols basketball went on the road and defeated Mississippi State 90-80. This moves Tennessee to 3-0 in conference play after a gauntlet of a non-conference schedule.
Afterward, Lady Vols head coach Kim Caldwell and freshman point guard Mia Pauldo met with the media for a quick press conference to give their immediate thoughts.
Pauldo finished the game with her career-high in scoring, posting 26 points on 8-for-12 shooting from the field, 2-for-5 on 3-pointers and 8-for-9 on free throws. She also contributed three assists, two rebounds, two steals and just two turnovers.
