Tennessee football’s biggest transfer portal needs are on the defensive side of the ball, but the Vols have some holes to plug on offense, as well. After already landing LSU offensive tackle Ory Williams through the portal, UT has also hosted interior linemen.
However, on Friday, Oregon State guard Dylan Sikorski, who visited Tennessee previously, signed with Texas, according to Chris Hummer. He also visited Arkansas and Missouri.
Sikorski just finished his redshirt freshman season, where he broke out as a strong starter for the Beavers. He played in nine games this past season, starting in six of them. His season PFF grade sat at 61.4. However, he had grades of 77.4 and 68.9 during the first two games of the year against Cal and Fresno State.
Even if Sikorski doesn’t start in year one for Texas, which will play at Tennessee next season, he still has three years of eligibility remaining.

The good news for Tennessee is it’s still returning a good bit of its offensive line next season. The Vols bring back standout true freshman tackle David Sanders Jr., who will likely return to his natural position of left tackle. On the interior, first-year Vols Wendell Moe Jr. and Sam Pendleton both stood out after transferring in.
The other guard spot went to Sham Umarov and Jesse Perry. However, Perry has the ability to play right tackle, as well. Now, Williams from LSU is also in the mix to start at right tackle opposite of Sanders.
Tennessee holds the commitment of six players in the transfer portal so far, including Williams. This features defensive backs Qua Moss from Kansas State and Kayin Lee from Auburn, defensive tackle Xavier Gilliam from Penn State, kicker Cooper Ranvier from Louisville and specialist Blake Howard from EKU.
